And now for a change...
Change is hard. It’s one of those things we typically are pulled through while kicking and screaming. And more often than not, in the end, we realize it was for the best. As much as we all like to resist change, it’s the only way we truly grow.
In the words of writer Robin Sharma, “Change is hard at first, messy in the middle, and gorgeous in the end.” And while some change can be quite easy to swallow, I believe that “hard” and “messy” come into play when it’s something that’s so close to your heart. But one thing's for sure...your passion and dedication to something will always shine through when change occurs. And that, my friends, is when you know you were meant for the journey that you’re on.
Over the last several months, myself and the rest of The Festive Farm Co. team have prayed, reflected and poured hard work into a change that’s coming to the shop, and we are so excited to finally share it with you.
Our mission has always been to provide meaningful gifts that inspire, spread encouragement, show love and create joy. And after five years of fulfilling this mission, it’s now become way more than we could have ever expected.
It’s more than gifts, it’s helping people send a little piece of joy and love to those they care about the most. It’s the ability to remind someone they are not alone, that they are worthy of celebration, and that “Hey, you got this!” And it’s a reminder that every day is truly a gift.
So it is with great pride and excitement that we introduce to you our NEWLY DESIGNED Ornament Collection – inspired by nature and created with heart.
Why the change, you ask? For so many reasons. We care immensely about our customers' experience with our products – from everything from price, packaging, and longevity/care. Because of the possibility of rust that always comes with metal, along with the rising price of steel (we place a lot of importance on affordability for our customers) we began seeking out an alternative material. One that would be sustainable, earth friendly, remain affordable for our customers, stand the test of time, and represent the very feel of our mission. (We have A LOT of requirements, okay? Sue us. ) And did we mention, that with the rising prices of shipping...they will be much cheaper to ship??? (Insert heart eyes here.)
So after many months of trial and error, we found our "Goldilocks" and made the brave decision to pivot to an all new maple wood design. We also took the opportunity to re-design each ornament with love and care. And we are now so proud to say, that our ornament designs are truly as unique as the messages they share.
To simplify...we couldn't love them any more.
And although the design has changed, everything else remains the same. Our ornaments still come with meaningful message. Your package will still be wrapped with love and care, and sent to you with special blessings. And our goal will ALWAYS be to bring joy and brighten people’s day in the ways that matter the most.
And in true Festive Farm Co. form...we're not stopping here. Over the next few months, we will be introducing NEW ornaments (ones you have been begging for!) along with some other surprises we have up our sleeves...all inspired by the new designs.
When we started this journey months ago, it felt scary. And I'm not going to lie, I lost a lot of sleep. And through it all, I honestly couldn't have predicted a more beautiful outcome. And isn't that always the way of it, with change??? Kicking and screaming, I tell you. But oh, how beautiful it is in the end.
